I’ll Probably Get Round To It

Nothing to report really. Well, I probably have lots to report, but nothing that I can coherently string together and display here for another week.

I don’t know, maybe I’m just uninspired by everything. Or maybe I just need to clear out my wardrobe and get a bunch of new clothes to replace the ones I don’t really wear any more. I’ve been thinking about that for a short while, but the main thing holding me back is money. Like most other things I’ve thought of, I’ll probably get round to it one day.

The same sentiment goes for writing a decent blog article. I’ll sit down properly and plan something out. But not today.

A little understated, this one is essentially a bit of spoken word poetry delivered by a gravelly throat that seems far from having a lust for life. Set against a backdrop of thumping drums, it feels almost hypnotic as Iggy recites stuff.

I’d like to say I’m deep and find the whole stoicism of the text to add to its purpose. I’d also like to say that repetitive chorus line keeps me humming along for more. Instead, however, the thing that’s got me most about this is the four-beep countdown at the beginning and end, like they lifted it from the Ceefax control room in 1992.
