Delving Into The Mail Bag

The problem with spam these days is that it’s very easy to see through. I’ve mentioned before receiving junk comments in the back-end system of this very blog and, weirdly, the robots don’t seem to be paying any attention to my acknowledgement of their poor tactics and my mockery of them.

On the other hand, viewing the yet-to-be-moderated comments on here provides me with such good entertainment that it feels cruel not to share it. That’s why I’m delving into the mail bag, taking those bits of text out of the oft forgotten Comments section and promoting them to become a part of the main attraction.

And why wouldn’t I, when I receive such lovely gems as this:

You should be a part of a contest for one of the finest sites online. I will highly recommend this blog!

The associated email address with that response appears to originate from FoxNews.com, which, quite frankly, does well to explain the level of command over the English language and typing skills required to be a Fox News journalist.

This is strange because I use Chrome to view the front of the site and I don’t see any problems with the layout. I also spend most of my working life looking at other websites in various stages of development and am very familiar with picking out when things don’t display correctly in certain browsers. Thanks for your appreciation of the design though. It’s not mine. It’s a free template from the WordPress theme library. There’s a credit to who actually made it in the footer. I think.

It’s getting warmer. It’s getting lighter. It’s almost the time of year to start dancing to tropical beats in bum-shaking, shoulder-shimmying fashion. But before we get to the height of summer, we have to make do with making those movements whilst sat down indoors. The party atmosphere hasn’t arrived yet, so we’re stuck with the pre-party awkwardness of waiting around at home until the right time when the party is due to begin, even though you’ve been ready for some time now.

Like last time, a lot of this is in a language other than English (I think… either that or it’s just to fast for me to comprehend) so she could be getting us into the party spirit or ready for a killing spree, we just don’t know.
